The Master’s Program in Physics, School of Postgraduate Studies, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), organized the UNDIP Global Classroom featuring an international speaker, Dr. Takashi Toma from Kanazawa University, Japan. The event covered the topic of “Advanced Quantum Physics” and was held virtually via Zoom Meeting on June 4 and June 5, 2026, starting at 13:30 WIB.
This UNDIP Global Classroom initiative is part of the UNDIP Physics Master’s Program’s continuous efforts to broaden students’ academic horizons through collaborative learning with international experts. Focusing on Advanced Quantum Physics, participants gained a deeper understanding of advanced quantum physics concepts, both from a theoretical perspective and its relevance to modern physics research.
The event was moderated by Qidir Maulana Binu Soesanto, Ph.D., and attended by students of the Physics Master’s Program as well as academic community members with an interest in quantum physics. The presence of Dr. Takashi Toma as the keynote speaker provided participants with the opportunity to engage in direct discussions on cutting-edge issues in quantum physics, including theoretical approaches widely used in particle physics and related fields.
Through this activity, the UNDIP Physics Master’s Program continues to promote the internationalization of learning and the strengthening of global academic networks. Programs like the UNDIP Global Classroom are expected to enhance the academic atmosphere, enrich students’ learning experiences, and reinforce UNDIP’s position as a higher education institution actively involved in international collaboration.
This event also reflects the commitment of the UNDIP Physics Master’s Program to delivering high-quality, relevant education aligned with scientific advancements, aimed at strengthening student competence at the global level.
